The Journal of Sociology in East and Horn of Africa respects the intellectual property rights of authors while promoting the broad dissemination of scholarly research through open access publishing.

Copyright

Authors retain the copyright to their published work. Upon acceptance for publication, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and preserve the article in print and electronic formats. This license enables the journal to make the work permanently available as part of the scholarly record while allowing authors to retain ownership of their intellectual property.
