Fesseha Mulu Gebremariam

Fesseha Mulu Gebremariam is an Ethiopian academic and Assistant Professor of Governance and Development Studies at Jimma University, where he has served since September 2014. He currently serves as Head of the Department of Civics and Ethics Studies.

He has extensive experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and community engagement within higher education. From 2018 to 2025, he served as Coordinator of the Registrar and Students’ Affairs Office in the College of Law and Governance, contributing to academic administration, student affairs coordination, and institutional service delivery.

His academic work focuses on governance, development studies, political philosophy, economic policy, environmental ethics, indigenous knowledge systems, and education. He has published widely in international peer-reviewed journals and has actively participated in national and international academic conferences.
