The Root Causes of Terrorism in Uganda: A Sociological Analysis of History and Current Perspectives

Abstract

Uganda is facing numerous, evolving and multifaceted terror attacks in the last four decades. although several perspectives are used to explain and analyse attacks, we use a sociological perspective to explain this phenomenon. This is because terrorism is largely a product of social factors. This paper seeeks to provide a perspective on sociological roots of terrorism.
