Leta Sera Bedada, PhD

Dr. Leta Sera Bedada is an Associate Professor of Economics and the current Dean of the College of Business and Economics at Jimma University, Ethiopia. Since joining the university in 2005, he has held numerous pivotal leadership positions, including Vice Dean and Head of the Department of Economics.
An expert in Development Economics and Macroeconomic Policy, Dr. Leta has a prolific research background focusing on economic growth, livelihood diversification, and the impact of sectorial transitions on smallholder farmers. His academic work is complemented by earlier professional experience as a planning officer in the telecommunications sector.
