Biography
Dr Basil Okechukwu Ibebunjo is a seasoned academic, researcher, and consultant with over two decades of experience in peace and conflict studies, strategic studies, security studies, and policy analysis. He currently serves as a Senior Academic in the Department of Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, Faculty of Social Sciences, National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja.
He holds a PhD in Strategic Studies and has established himself as a prolific scholar with numerous publications in reputable local and international journals, as well as contributions to scholarly books. He has also supported academic publishing through editorial and peer-review roles, including service as Editor, Managing Editor, and Reviewer.

He currently serves as the Zonal Coordinator for the North Central Zone of the Incubation Centre, a unit under the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and General Studies at the National Open University of Nigeria. In this role, he supports entrepreneurship, innovation, and capacity development among students and emerging professionals.
