Prof. Crispinous Iteyo

Prof. Crispinous Iteyo is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology within the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies. He is currently the Acting Director of Webuye Campus and has served for six years as Chair of his department.
Prof. Iteyo obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Nairobi and earned his PhD in Philosophy from Maseno University. For over two decades, he has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in philosophy, specializing in Logic and practical/applied philosophy, particularly in matters of peace and conflict. He is an active member of the Philosophical Association of Kenya.
His extensive research explores peace, conflict, governance, and human security in Kenya and the broader Horn of Africa region. He has published widely in academic journals and contributed to books and online scholarly platforms.
