📘 Author Guidelines

Prior to submission, authors are responsible for ensuring that:

·         Permission has been obtained for all third-party content included in the manuscript (e.g., images, datasets, appendices).

·         All listed authors have agreed to be identified as such and have contributed substantially to the manuscript.

·         Ethical approval has been granted, where applicable, by a recognized ethics committee in accordance with the legal and institutional requirements of the study's country of origin.

The editorial team reserves the right to desk reject any manuscript that fails to meet the minimum standards of academic rigor, relevance, or clarity. To avoid this:

·         Ensure that the research design and argumentation are clearly structured and logically developed.

·         Craft a concise, informative title that accurately reflects the content of the paper.

·         Prepare an abstract (maximum 150 words) that is self-contained and captures the key elements of the study.

A well-prepared submission not only enhances clarity for reviewers but also increases the likelihood of securing timely peer review. Once you are confident your manuscript meets these criteria, proceed to the submission checklist and detailed formatting requirements outlined in the following sections.

☑️ Submission Preparation Checklist

Authors are required to use the official manuscript template when preparing submissions. All manuscripts must be fully anonymized for double-blind peer review. This means the manuscript should not include author names, institutional affiliations, acknowledgments, funding details, or any self-identifying statements that may reveal the identity of the authors.

Submissions should follow the journal’s required structure and recommended word limits:

  • Abstract: 150–250 words

  • Introduction: 800–1,000 words

  • Materials and Methods / System Design: 1,000–1,200 words

  • Results / Findings: 800–1,000 words

  • Discussion: 1,000–1,500 words

  • Conclusion: 250–350 words

Manuscripts should be prepared using IEEE referencing style, which is suitable for research in embedded electronics, circuits, IoT, smart systems, robotics, automation, and engineering technologies. In-text citations should appear as numbered references in square brackets, for example [1], [2], and [3], and the full reference list should be arranged in numerical order according to first appearance in the manuscript.

References must be sufficient, current, and scholarly. As a guide, the reference list should contain approximately 2 to 3 times the number of manuscript pages. At least 35%–50% of the references should come from journals with an Impact Factor or from journals indexed in SCOPUS or ESCI.

Journal articles cited should generally be less than 10 years old, unless they are foundational works. Books may be used regardless of publication year, provided they are scholarly and directly relevant. Technical standards, datasheets, patents, conference papers, and credible institutional or industry reports may be used where appropriate. However, grey literature and non-peer-reviewed sources should not exceed 10% of the total references.
